How does it work?

  • Check in on the bus at the card reader with your debit card, credit card, or your mobile payment card. Tip! Take your debit card out of your wallet when checking in. This way, you know which card you are checking in with. 
  • Are you getting out? Always check out with the same card (or phone/smartwatch) that you checked in with. 
  • Your payment is automatic. The next day, you will see the amount in your payment overview with the description NLOV. The price for your journey is the same as travelling with your OV-chipkaart without discount or subscription. 
  • Want to view the travel costs for that day? Enter the 14 digits and letters following NLOV and the debited amount at the web tool.
